I consider myself an artist, but my love of fashion and beauty became my passion when I started an Art Foundation in Fashion and Textiles. This passion grew as I completed an HND in Fashion Styling for Hair and Makeup at the prestigious London College of Fashion in 1999. A natural talent and dedication inspired me to start assisting within the industry. It is here that I learnt some amazing techniques, gained invaluable tips and learnt some of the trades top beauty secrets! This allowed me to develop my own style and flare and eventually work with some amazing talents within the industry. My career started within the advertising and music industry where I gained my first personal client, Vanessa Mae. I was privileged enough to travel the world with her on tour. I have since worked and travelled with many other amazing musicians and talents which became personal clients including Danni Minogue and Juliette Lewis. Working with celebrities then led me into the wonderful world of television where I worked regularly with some of TVs finest including the gorgeous Holly Willoughby and cheeky Dermot O'Leary. I love my work, travelling and meeting different and interesting personalities, working with each individual's unique and personal style to create beauty from the simple and glamorous to the striking and definitive. My philosophy is that beauty and character comes from within. Makeup and styling allows me to enhance and bring out this beauty and create an image or style that allows their character to shine and ultimately feel comfortable and gorgeous! |
