Facial from Una Brennan
Posted 20/07/2011WHAT A TOTAL FIND!!!!!!!!!…Hi Guys, just had to do a little post re this amaaaaaazing facial I had yesterday. A very good friend of mine, frog marched me into the hands of Una Brennan for a Skin Ceuticals facial, declaring that I looked exhausted. Quite frankly I was! Having just finished shooting Jade Jagger in Ibiza, followed by Glastonbury and then onto the new Marks and Spencers ad (lots of long hours, not much sleep) I needed all the help I could get to look as fresh as possible, for a shoot I am appearing in on Saturday…Yikes!!!!
Una is a magician, I lost count of how many different procedures she did, this is what I could remember whilst drifting in and out of deep relaxation. She started with a light peel, making my skin baby fresh and ready for extraction. No need for the old fashioned steamer, which I never liked, she applied a gentle warm wax all over my face to open up the pores, ready for extraction. She definately got rid of the apres shoot and apres, apres, festival skin! Una then moved onto an amazing lymphatic drainage massage that got rid of any excess fluid on my face, I normally get frustrated at this point but Una definately had the touch, this acted like a mini face lift and my eyes instantly looked fresher and de-circled, then onto a pure dose of vitamin c, followed by a freezing seaweed face mask, I have to admit this was really cold but lovely and strangley comforting as I felt it firmed my skin and closed down all the pores, there were two more procedures, but as I say I kept drifting away, listening to the lovely music she played, I woke this morning looking a million times better and still feeling the effects of a wonderful session with Una. I was prescribed lots of different potions and lotions by Skin Ceutcals, which I simply cant wait to get my paws on. I think I’ve hit on a super brand in skincare and also a totally brilliant facialist nestled in the heart of Nottinghill.
